Merry Christmas Beauties,
Caring for your skin is simply personal! Imagine starting out your day with a salubrious beauty regimen that hydrates, freshen and brighten your skin and makes you look good? Such a perfect way to start the day. I am very excited to share with you my 6-step morning skincare routine.
Having a morning skincare routine is crucial as it preserves and protects the skin.
Step 1: Gel Cleanser
A low pH gel cleanser is good for unclogging pores, removing excess oil and acne-causing bacteria from the surface of your face without causing any irritation.
How to Apply
While your face is damp, take an appropriate amount of cleanser and foam enough in clockwise motion on your face. I like my cleanser sitting in my face for about a minute to two before washing off with cold water. Pat a clean face towel onto your skin to dry or leave skin to air dry for few seconds.
Step 2: Toner
Toner used to be deemed unnecessary, as they used to contain a higher concentration of alcohol and incredibly drying. Toner is like a primer for the rest of your skincare routine like serums and moisturizers, New York-based dermatologist Arielle Kauvar tells Allure. A good toner balances your skin pH, hydrates your skin, sweeping impurities away, and helping your skin absorb your skincare products.
How to Apply
There are two ways to apply toner onto your skin. You can either sprinkle toner into your hands and tap it directly onto your skin. Or dispense toner onto a cotton pad and gently swipe it around your face. It’s best to apply toner onto a damp skin right after cleansing.
Step 3: Essence
The essence is a less concentrated formula compared to a serum that specifically targets skin concerns like wrinkles, fine lines, dull skin, uneven skin, and provides an extra layer of hydration. Essences contain nutrients, antioxidants, and vitamins that help revitalize the skin and make it youthful and glowing.
How to Apply
After toning, apply essence by dispensing the product onto your hand and pat evenly onto your face and neck.
Tip: Patting products onto your skin enhances absorption of products rather than rubbing
Step 4: Serum
Serums are more potent than essence as they contain higher amount of active ingredients like Vitamin C, Niacinamide, Hyaluronic acid, Retinol etc. . This is one of the most important step in your morning skincare routine, they target & solve specific skin problems. we have serums in stock
How to Apply
Apply evenly around the skin, pat onto the skin, and wait for about 2 minutes to absorb into the skin.
Step 5: Moisturizer

Everyone needs moisture! The most basic function of a moisturizer is to hydrate and soften the skin. Depending on your skin type, you can either choose a creamy, balm, moisturizing lotion or a water-based gel to nourish and lock the moisture into your skin.
How to Apply
Apply a thin layer of moisturizer in your palm and pat onto your face for full absorption.
Step 6: Sunscreen
The most important step of your morning routine. Daily sun protection is non negotiable as drinking water. You need a sunscreen lotion with at least Sun Protection Factor (SPF) 30 to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful UV rays. It lowers your skin cancer risk, prevents permanent aging of the skin and helps maintain and even skin tone.
How to Apply
Press a quarter-sized amount and pat onto your face, and an additional quarter-sized amount and pat onto your neck and open area of your chest.
As you can see I keep my morning routine pretty simple and fast. I stick to key elements and do not add a lot of unnecessary steps. Hope this helps to give you tips for your skincare journey. If you have any questions, please leave a comment below.
